As of the end of September, Skye was in Chicago! We have a postcard too that we have to scan in.

I just recieved news, That Skye is going to chicago with Lucy's couisins!
i cant wait.

Skye airlines has taken off!

Skye airlines first flight has left the driveway!
this post is TWO WEEKS LATE. just so you know. She went to San Fransisco with Lucy, Ada, Elliot, and Rowen. and Don't forget their parents, Matt, and Kate.

The Instructions

Hello friend! My name is Bridget, I am a ten year old girl who lives in New Jersey. This is Skye the bear, and she wants to travel where she can like one Carmen the bear who I read about in Chicken Soup for the Preteen Soul.

Will you help her?

Instructions – When you first get Skye, send us a postcard from wherever you are to let us know where she is! Then, take her around your town or your state for awhile. Take pictures of her doing fun things with you (like going to the zoo, a museum, or just hanging out in your backyard or going to work with you). Write where and when the pictures were taken on the back of each print and put them in the box with her. You can also put in small souvenirs if you like. And don’t forget to jot down some notes in the notebook about where you live, where you got her and what you’re doing with Skye while she stays with you.

When Skye is done hanging out with you, give her to a friend. Maybe someone who is about to go on vacation!

And if you happen to get Skye in the year 2010, do us a favor and send her home! She’ll be pretty homesick by then!

What this is

This is the travel blog of Skye the Bear. i am ten years old, and the rest of my family is coming along for the trip. except there's one important catch: we'll never have to leave new jersey! instead, we're sending Skye the bear, a beautiful blue bear with an appetite for travel! she will travel the USA, maybe even the world, in a box, and she'll be home in 2010. who knows, maybe we'll do it again! she's leaving to California with my friend Lucy next week, and there her exploration will begin! my mother guesses we'll get a postcard about every month, so stay tuned! when we do get one, you can read about it, and maybe even see it on this blog. who knows? maybe you're the one who sent it!
